As a landscape photographer I travel from the Pacific coast to the desert Southwest. I find myself always drawn to the mountains. Whether it's Jackson Hole, Wyoming or Jasper National Park in Canada. When I first visited the Owens Valley in eastern California I was overwhelmed by its grandeur and stark beauty.
The Owens Valley is formed by the Sierra Nevada on the west and the White Mountains to the east. Bishop, California is a small community nestled at the base of the Eastern Sierra in the Owens Valley. With the many nearby high mountain lakes, streams and groves of aspen this is a photographers paradise. I am very fortunate that I can "follow my bliss" from such a beautiful place.
